Raising the flag

On Saturday, May 7, Members of the Saline County Composite Squadron (MO-117), Civil Air Patrol, assisted the DSCF8700Marshall Family Worship Center in raising a new flag on its campus on Drake Road.

Mark Gooden, pastor at FWC, said the new flag measures 15 by 20 feet. It replaces an older flag that was worn and no longer suitable for display.

MO-117 is currently headquartered at the worship center while its offices at the  Marshall Municipal Airport are undergoing renovations.
