Clark earns Hap Arnold Award

Saline County Composite Squadron Commander Maj. Marsha Williams presents Cadet Devin Clark with his new rank insignia after he was promoted to Cadet Airman First Class. Clark’s father Brian Clark assists.

Saline County Composite Squadron cadet Devin Clark recently earned the organization’s Gen. Hap Arnold Award.

The Gen H. “Hap” Arnold Achievement is the second cadet achievement of the Cadet Program. This achievement accompanies the promotion to Cadet Airman First Class. This is the first achievement in which an aerospace education test is required from one of the six aerospace modules.

To be eligible for promotion cadets must take and pass the Leadership Chapter 2 test, any aerospace module, and the cadet physical fitness test. Cadets must also participate in at least half of the moral leadership forums offered since the completion of the last achievement.
